For Christmas 2011, the Martin clan received a trip to Hawaii to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Bert’s parents, Ed and Claudia. In honor of that trip, we dedicate our 5th annual Christmas Music Video Card to the beautiful tropical islands. Aloha!
Kristina can now consider herself a published author after her short story, “Freeing Blue,” was published in Buddhapuss Ink’s Mystery Times Nine. Her first novel is currently under submission with several agents for representation.
Bert was recently promoted to Director of Portfolio Management at PeaceHealth. He is very excited about this new endeavor and is looking forward to the challenges it will bring in the coming year.
Isaac is in the 7th grade this year. He is taking a theater class and is really enjoying it. His first play is this winter, where he plays a crotchety old sailor.
Amelia is in the 3rd grade. She joined the drum corps this year and is having a blast with it. We saw her first concert recently and it was amazing.
Elias is in the 1st grade and he is loving it. He is an avid reader and after visiting Hawaii, has decided he wants to be a marine biologist.
