Ten years ago Bert was home alone with the kids and was looking for something to keep them busy. He set up the video camera on a tripod, put on some music, and had the kids dance around the family room. Little did he know, it would become one of our family’s most cherished Christmas traditions.
We have done Twisted Sister, light sabers, animations, green screens, spinning cameras, and have handed out gifts to the homeless. This year we created an ode to the video that started this all. Hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it.
Isaac is a senior in high school. He’s a full diploma candidate in the IB program (International Baccalaureate) and is in the thick of applying to colleges and making plans for the next chapter of his life.
Amelia is an eighth grader and enjoys trying new sports – she aims to be a 4-season athlete this year. She has been bitten by the knitting bug and is either knitting or drawing in her free time.
Elias started middle school this year and went out for cross country and plans on going out for track. He loves math almost as much as he loves playing Overwatch on-line with his friends.
Bert and Kristina just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary and are trying to spend as much time with their kids while they can. Because one thing these Christmas videos prove: not only is Christmas a wonderful time spent with family but time passes too quickly.
